It's About a Book Create a project based on a book in recognition of Library Week. you can also use an image of books or someone reading if you would like.

New stamp release for book lovers!

Have you got a favourite book? Mine is 'To Kill a Mockingbird', we had to study it for English O Level at school, it was the first book that made me cry and I fell in love with it instantly. I have a brand new copy sitting on my bookshelf ready for my sons to read, I'd love them to learn a few things from Atticus Finch.

So to celebrate a love of books we have two new digi stamps for you!

Bunny Hop Challenge

Before we get on to the winners of last week and our new challenge, I just wanted to share with you the news that as well as an illustrator I can now add Pop Star to my CV! I belong to a lovely community choir called Funky Voices and we have been asked to release a single for this year's Comic Relief's Red Nose Day (for those of you not in the UK it is a big event on the BBC that raises millions for various charities every year )

You can download it from iTunes for just 79p to help them to raise lots of money, only the band One Direction and my choir were asked to do official songs so we jumped at the chance to release our very own single.

We met up a few weeks ago in a theatre to record the song - there are 600 of us so we needed somewhere big to get us all in! We had so much fun, you can watch the 'making of' video here:

If anyone can spare a few pence we would be SO grateful if you want to download the song and then who knows, we might raise a fair amount - I might even be in the charts in a couple of weeks!

Right oh, on to the main business...

New stamps released - Time for Tea and Two Love Birds

I had a lovely weekend, I went with my sister, my mum and her best friend to The Ritz in London for tea - how posh are we?! We were celebrating my mum's 70th birthday and decided to treat her, it was a really lovely day out. We had lots of fancy finger sandwiches, tiny cakes and cream scones piles high on silver trays with tea served in silver teapots by very handsome waiters and all in the most amazing room with huge chandeliers and fountains, piano playing - oh my how the other half live!

Back to reality - we have two new stamps for you this week, one is two girls having tea and cakes (how apt is that?!) and two love birds on a cage. Have a look at what the Jellypark Design Team made with these!
