World Card Making Day 2011!

isn't this exciting!?!?! today is World Card Making Day!!!! all around the world, crafters are sitting down at their tables, desks, wherever they create and are busy, busy, busy!!! Thousands of cards are going to be made this weekend! we are joining together in this wonderful hobby to help spread joy and happiness EVERYWHERE!!!! okay, I'm really really excited about this day! ;)

we here at Jellypark Friends want to be right in the middle of the crafty fun, so we have a special WCMD challenge going on this weekend. Claire is providing a cutie image for everyone to use. create a fun project using this craft basket digi and post it back here by Sunday at midnight EST. you could be in the draw for a 10 pound gift certificate! why not combine it with our current challenge - the Design Seeds color palette challenge? head over to the Design Seeds blog and browse through their MANY gorgeous color palettes. pick one to use when making your card using the craft basket image. this way you can enter your card in BOTH challenges! double your chances of winning Jellypark images! :)

A New Challenge - Finding Inspiration at Design Seeds

Happy happy Friday to you once again! Isn't it so wonderful to have our lovely Fridays to look forward to? new releases, winners, and fun new challenges to spur our creativity?! Well this week is sure to please, so let's get started! so much news to share.....

We had so many of you take part again in our challenge this past time - thank you so much! and we know that your kindness from 'passing it on' truly brought smiles to the faces of those you shared with, and that is really what is most important. :) You are ALL tops in our eyes, but Mr. Blue Froggy random picker thingy selected the following fabby friends to grab the lovely 'Top 3' badge for your blogs!

Next I need to share a wee bit of sad news with everyone - our lovely teamie Diane will be leaving us after this challenge. She has been a true papercrafting inspiration to all of us with her special style and amazing coloring skills. Diane, you will be missed by all of us here, but we are going to visit your blog ALL the time! :) Please be sure to stop by and wish her well in her future crafty endeavors!

On to the new challenge ~
Since Jellypark Friends Friday Challenges first began, over on the right sidebar there has been a lovely little rotating blinkie from a company called 'Design Seeds'. I don't know if any of you have ever checked it out before, but they have the most GORGEOUS color palettes under the sun! and each day brings several new ones! For this challenge, stop bythe Design Seeds blog and pick one as your color inspiration. Create a papercraft project using is color palette, post the palette you chose, and please be sure to do this last one - link to the Design Seeds blog. if you are anything like all of us on the DT, you'll end up getting so entranced by the beautiful selection, you won't want to leave their blog!

As always, you can use any images you would like, but Jellypark gets you an extra entry into the contest for Top 3. please link directly to your post and limit your entries to 2. have fun playing with the colors!
